Metron was established as an entrepreneurship in 1970 in the ownership of Agoston Sagi in Novi Sad. 

In 1990 legal rights are met to establish a private enterprise Metron. Same year Metron in Hungary was established and in 1994 in Romania.

Basic activity of Metron is:
Representation of internationally recognized manufacturers of laboratory and measuring equipment , quantity and quality control instruments,  sales and service. Also we provide laboratory services for agricultural and food products.
