MINI GAC® 2500

New Moisture Tester Standard Launched in 2012
On August 1st, 2012 the GIPSA/FGIS division of the USDA mandated that all moisture meters used in official inspections be based on the new 149-MHz/UGMA technology. The new technology provided many benefits including increased accuracy, faster analysis times, expanded grain temperature range, and an improvement on the soybean rebound effect. Since that time, thousands of elevators have upgraded their grain moisture meter to the new technology. In fact, it is estimated that 50% of elevators in the United States use a 149-MHz/UGMA moisture tester at the grain receiving scale.

Take the Elevator Technology into the field
The new mini GAC® 2500 handheld grain moisture analyzer offers the possibility to take the elevator technology into the field. The mini GAC® 2500 handheld moisture tester is designed with the same technology as the new UGMA moisture meters at the elevator, including the calibrations. To ensure top accuracy, and readings that match the elevator, consider upgrading to the DICKEY-john mini GAC® 2500, designed to deliver results straight to your bottom line:

  • Eliminate dockage fees and shrink charges
  • Eliminate multiple trips to the elevator to calibrate your combine moisture sensor
  • Control your drying process and optimize propane usage
  • Select the optimum field to harvest and minimize moisture loss in the field

The DICKEY-john mini GAC® 2500 - the leading handheld grain analyzer.
